It grows extensively on the slopes of the Himalayas in northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. * Color: Pale yellow green * Common Uses: Antiseptic, anti putrescent, antiseborrheic, aphrodisiac, astringent, diuretic, expectorant, fungicidal, mucilytic, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic. In India, Himalayan Cedarwood oil has been shown to possess insecticidal and anti fungal properties and to have some potential for control of fungal deterioration of spices during storage. * Consistency: Medium * Note: Base * Strength of Aroma: Strong * Blends well with: the citrus oils, giving them a base note that very nicely complements them.
